Hey there! This week I’m participating in Six for Sunday, a meme hosted by Steph at A little But a Lot. This week topic is: Six Characters Who Would Fit Right In With My Family. I actually brought this up at dinner, and it generated a lively conversation! Here are the characters that made the top of the list:
1. Ron Weasley – Harry Potter Series
Ron is a good friend and son. He is funny and a little scared of everything. Regardless, he shows bravery when it’s most important, and he teaches Harry what it means to be a true friend. He’s also awkward and goofy. I think he’d fit in with us well!
2. Walter – Walter the Farting Dog
I have three children aged 14, 11, and 8. The younger ones are especially delighted by farts. My husband and 14 year old aren’t too far behind. So, Walter makes the list.
3. Rue – The Hunger Games
Ahh…Poor Rue! I love this character from The Hunger Games. She is sweet, kind, and smart. She helps others and is beloved. She reminds me of my daughter a bit.
I would love to have this sweet girl in my family!
4. Cassia – Matched
Cassia is smart and hard-working. She also questions things. That’s what I like about her most. She doesn’t accept everything at face value.
She resists when it goes against her beliefs. My family is pretty outspoken and passionate about our beliefs as well.
5. Larkin – The Jabberwocky Princess
Larkin is the protagonist’s best friend. He is loyal and smart – a caretaker. He is also quite brave. I like his caring and calming disposition and his optimistic attitude.

6. Alis – A Court of Thorns and Roses
I love this fierce, kind, and protective character! Alis is so family-oriented and so willing to sacrifice for those she loves. She is an admirable character that offers support to those in need.
She kind of reminds me of my mom.
There you have it! I hope you enjoyed my list of characters that I think would fit in well with my family. This definitely tells you a lot about the wacky family that I am lucky to be a part of!

Oh what a fun challenge! I agree that Ron Weasley would fit in well with my family too. You have some characters on here that I haven’t read the book yet, so on to the TBR they go 😉
