Meagan’s Questions:

What is your favorite streaming service? If you don’t have any, what’s your favorite channel to watch? Or, you can answer both.

I am a hardcore binge-watcher. Stranger Things, Longmire, Grace and Frankie are all awesome shows that I enjoy on Netflix. I also love Amazon for The Marvelous Mrs. Maizel and Jack Ryan, and Twitch because I can watch Bob Ross’ Joy of Painting. However, Netflix wins for one reason:

Tommy Shelby

I love the show Peaky Blinders, and I love Tommy Shelby.

I’m a Cillian Murphy fan, and his role as Tommy Shelby is fabulous.

This series captivated me from the first episode, and I’m eagerly awaiting a new season!

What’s a song you’re embarrassed to say you like? (We won’t judge.)

Anything by Barry Manilow. (Remember you said you wouldn’t judge!) Copacabana, Can’t Smile Without You, Let Me Be Your Wings – I love them all. I have always loved Barry, much to my Tom Petty/Bob Seger-loving mother’s dismay and consider myself a true Fanilow! I’ve also been a member of the Barry Manilow International Fan Club for two decades, so….yeah…there’s that.

How would you describe yourself as a child?

Sensitive, funny, creative…weird, insecure, smart, studious, self-competitive. I always thought I was a pretty weird kid.

And what were your favorite toys/things to do?

I loved to read and write from a pretty young age. I loved listening to music, swimming, and going to the library. I was also an avid tennis player.

I also like to reenact tv shows and movies. My friends and I would pretend to be characters from The Wizard of Oz, The Smurfs, Jem and the Holograms, or the X-Men. We always had a blast!

I remember loving to go for bike rides. I played a ton of basketball in my driveway. I irritated my brother a lot – that was always fun.

What is your favorite dog breed?

This is a tough question since I absolutely adore dogs! Currently, I have three dogs- a Boston Terrier, a Chihuahua, and a Japanese Chin. They are all lovely and loving and dear to me and absolutely adorable.

If you won the lottery, what’s the first thing you’d do with it?

First, I would put money aside for my kids’ college fund. Then, they would never have to worry about finances. I would also pay off my house and any other outstanding debt. Then, I would go on an awesome family vacation – Italy, Spain, the Grand Canyon, Australia – there are so many places I’d like to see with my family! One of my bucket list goals is to go to the Australian Zoo, so I would definitely do that.

Would you rather be a hero or a villain for a day?

A hero. I don’t think that I could never be a villain. There so mean and…well… villainous!

I could never live with the guilt of knowing I intentionally hurt someone else, and I would definitely rather help people than harm them.

Plus, I think I would look pretty spectacular in a Wonder Woman costume – just sayin’! 🙂
