April 2020 Book Haul

Hey all! It’s time for my monthly book haul. I love doing these posts! It’s so fun and exciting to see all of the books that I amass over the course of a month.

ARC Reviews:

I’ve already read all of these books except The Siren and the Deep Blue Sea, and, wow! I have had an awesome month of reading!

From the Author!

I just started Population and have already read the D.L. Blade series, which I really enjoyed. It’s super action-packed and exciting. The Magic Underground series contains a three-part (novellas) story by Anela Deen. The main characters, a pixie and a human, in these novellas are amazing!

Goodreads Giveaways:

How Lulu Lost Her Mind was fabulous, and Inge’s War is a fascinating look at one reporter’s journey into her grandmother’s past. I think I’m going to read The Red Lotus Next, but I haven’t quite decided yet.

Library Loans:

Surrender to the Highlander is a fun and steamy romance that I really enjoyed. However, I did not love Damsel, and I DNF Red Hood. Serpent & Dove is next on my TBR.

Purchases:

I haven’t read any of these!!! Help me out – which one should I read first?

Freebies:

I haven’t read any of these yet, but I couldn’t resist. They were free!

It’s been another amazing book haul month, and I’ve already read more than half of these books!! I’m in a reading frenzy!!!

Did you get any new books this month? Have you read any of these? Which would you recommend? Comment below?

  1. That ‘Crave’ book is giving me Twilight vibes! I really want to order Good Girl, Bad Blood as the sequel to A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder. Just need an excuse to reward myself haha. Currently it’s £5 from Amazon. Well done for reading so many of these already! Hope May is a good reading month for you. Take care 🙂

      1. Thank you so much! I did order them and there are no regrets. Hopefully I’ll muster the energy to write reviews as well ☺️

  2. So impressive that you read almost all the ARCs already! I hope you end up enjoying them all!

    1. I really enjoyed Where Dreams Descend! Crave sounds so good too! I’ve read a few interesting vampire/paranormal romances lately, and I’m really looking forward to this one. 🙂

  4. I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own weblog and was curious what all is needed to get set up? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny? I’m not very web savvy so I’m not 100 certain. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks
