Hey there! I was tagged by Cathleen over at Woven from Words. I just love her blog. She reads so many fantastic books, and her reviews and recommendations are so helpful and interesting. If you haven’t been over to her blog, you should totally check it out!

Find A Book For Each Of Your Initials

Count Your Age Along Your Bookshelf

I’m 44, and the 44th book on my favorite bookshelf is In Pursuit of Disobedient Women.

In Pursuit of Disobedient Women is one of the first books I won this year in a Goodreads Giveaway.

I enjoyed this true story about a reporter who moves with her family to West Africa to work as the New York Times Bureau Chief. It’s a fascinating look at Searcey’s experiences while there.

Pick A Book Set In Your City/Country

My Sister's Keeper

I believe My Sister’s Keeper takes place in a fictional town in Rhode Island, and I’m a life-long resident of the state.

Other books that are set in Rhode Island include The Witches of Eastwick by John Updike, Something Upstairs by Avi, and A Week at the Shore by Barbara Delinski.

Pick A Book That Has Your Favourite Colour On It

My favorite color is purple, and I’m loving the dress color in this beautiful cover. Plus, the story is pretty cool too!

Which Book Do You Have The Fondest Memories Of?

I am not a fan of J.K Rowling right now, and I struggle with my feelings toward her vs. my feelings toward Harry Potter. It’s difficult to separate the two, but I do have fond memories of reading this series.

Which Book Did You Have The Most Difficulty Reading?

The Grapes of Wrath

I was assigned The Grapes of Wrath when I was in high school, and I thought it was very tedious. I struggled to get through it, and I’m not even sure that I finished it.

This is probably my least favorite Steinbeck story. My favorite is The Pearl.

Which Book On Your TBR Pile Will Give You The Most Achievement When You Finish It?

House of Earth and Blood is 799 pages. Now, I love Sarah J. Mass. She’s one of my favorite authors. But 799 pages is an investment no matter who the author.

I think I’ll feel a good sense of accomplishment when I finish.

Well, there you have it! Thanks for reading!
