Books I Loved But Never Reviewed
Let’s take a look at my list of unreviewed books:
1. House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J. Maas
I read this a few weeks ago and feel like I’m still processing. It;s one of those books where i feel like I have a lot to say, but I don’t know where to begin. It’s so layered and so nuanced, and it made me feel so many feels! I know that I want to write a review eventually. I mean, SJM is one of my favorite writers, and I loved this book. I just…I think I’m still a bit speechless.
2. Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo
I loved the Six of Crows duology bus still haven’t written a review for Crooked Kingdom. I plan on writing something this week. We’ll see…
3. Aurora Rising by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
I read Aurora Rising a couple of months ago and really enjoyed it. It’s such an immersive story – very unique and interesting. Plus, I loved the characters. Now, Aurora Burning is out, and I’m dying to read it. I’m still waiting for my copy from the library. I’ve been on the wait-list for almost two months! Maybe once I read Aurora Burning, I’ll write a review for both books!
4. Crave by Tracy Wolff
I wouldn’t say I loved this book, but I did like it, and I never reviewed it. Not sure why!
5. Hunting for a Highlander by Lynsay Sands
I love the Highland Brides series, and this story is no exception. I was actually lucky enough to receive an ARC of Highland Treasure, the next book in the series.
Alas, I did’nt review Hunting for a Highlander. I think I had a zillion other book commitments, and since this is one I borrowed from the library, I read it for fun and returned it before reviewing it.
6. Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier
This is a fabulous piece of Gothic literature that I’ve read so many times! I am actually thinking of giving it a re-read and writing a review since I haven’t read it in a while.
7. Sisters of Shadow and Light by Sara B. Larson
I was recently approved for an ARC of the second book in the series and was surprised that I hadn’t written a review for this one. I loved this story, and I’m looking forward to reading Warriors of Wing and Flame.
8. A Fire Sparkling by Julianne Maclean
This is definitely a book that I want to go back and write a review about. I enjoy historical fiction, and this story is captivating. I read this in January and couldn’t put it down!
9. The Sweeney Sisters by Lian Dolan
I won The Sweeney Sisters a few months back in a Goodreads Giveaway. I really liked the story but never reviewed it. Another one where I’m not sure why.
10. Les Miserables by Victor Hugo
I must admit that I feel a bit guilty for not writing a review of one of my most beloved books. Heck, I named my blog after a song from the musical!! It seems like this should be a priority for me, but for some reason, I haven’t written a review yet.
There are my 10 unreviewed books. I’m feeling pretty guilty right now and think I have to rectify this situation and review at least some of these novels.

Great list! I never reviewed Rebecca either and I’d quite like to re-read it so I can–especially with the new Netflix adaptation coming this October.

This prompt made me realise just how many of my favourite reads I haven’t reviewed because I only started properly reviewing a little over a year ago now 😅 Definitely feeling like some re-reads should happen in the future so I can finally write gushing reviews lol great list!
I feel the same way! I started this blog at the end of January, and I have a bunch of books that I’d love to review. Plus, I love re-reading favorites! lol

Yes- Les Misérables. I read that book due my love for the musical. If I literally saw that book on the shelf without any knowledge on the book, I wouldn’t have picked it up.
There are books I loved, but never once reviewed: Spinning Silver, Tale of Two Cities, Great Expectations are examples
I did the same with Les Mis. I saw the musical first and was OBSESSED. Went out the next day and bought the book!
I haven’t read Spinning Silver, but I’ve seen it around the blogosphere. I’m thinking I should add it to my TBR. It sounds interesting. 🙂
I am obsessed with Les Mis- but first the film had to be given a 2nd chance. After that, the rest is history.
Sometimes I just like to read without the pressure of having to review. I think it is more relaxing when you just sit down and read without trying to be conscious of info you need for a review. Don’t feel guilty for just enjoying and not reviewing.
So true!! Sometimes you have to just read for pleasure and not with a review or blog post in mind. 🙂
House of Earth and Blood was such a hard one to review!! I loved it but there’s so much. It definitely sat in my drafts section for a while!! Great list.
I wouldn’t even know where to begin! lol I loved the story, but it is a lot to unpack, that’s for sure. I felt like I needed a few to days to process the story before I could even talk about it. 🙂 Total book hangover!!

I loved Crescent City too. The characters, the story, the world, the last 200 pages! So good!!! I love book s that make me feel all the feels, and Crescent City definitely did that. lol 🙂
