ADAPTATION SNOB: Do you always read the book before watching the film/ TV show?

I usually do, but I wouldn’t say always. The Princess Bride is a perfect example. The 100, The Vampire Diaries, and the Lord of the Rings films are others.

FORMAT SNOB: You can only choose 1 format in which to read books for the rest of your life. Which one do you choose: physical books, eBooks, or audiobooks?

I do read a lot more ebooks than physical books, and I rarely do audiobooks. However, there’s nothing like holding a book in your hand. If I had to chose, I’d go with a physical book.

SHIP SNOB: Would you date or marry a non-reader?

I did. lol Well, I wouldn’t say I married a non-reader, but the hubs is a not-often reader. He totally encourages and supports my reading habits, though.

GENRE SNOB: You have to ditch one genre – never to be read again for the rest of your life. Which one do you ditch?

Horror. I don’t like scary stories. They give me nightmares. Too much gore or disturbing content/violence, and I’m dreaming about it for weeks. Thanks, but I’d rather not be traumatized.

UBER GENRE SNOB: You can only choose to read from one genre for the rest of your life. Which genre do you choose?

Fantasy. No, romance. No, fantasy. Romantic fantasy? Don’t make me choose!!!

COMMUNITY SNOB: Which genre do you think receives the most snobbery from the bookish community?

Romance has such negative connotations attached to it. I don’t get it. The world needs love, we all want to be loved, so why the hate?
