Top Ten Tuesday: The Next 10 Books on My TBR (Maybe)

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

This week’s topic is Books I Didn’t Get to Read in 2020, but I recently did a post with this topic. You can check it out here: Why Didn’t I Read That? SFF Books on My TBR That I NEED to Read. So, I decided to switch it up and do this:

The Next 10 Books on My TBR (Maybe)

Alec Gresham hasn’t seen Lottie since he left his childhood friend without a word five years ago. So he’s not surprised to find her furious when he appears on her doorstep. Especially bearing the news he brings: her uncle is dying, her blasted reputation is still intact, and Lottie must return home. Promise me.” So Letty grabs her sister’s Mercedes and hits the road . . .

Can Letty find romance as well as a room at the inn–or will Joe betray her secrets and put her behind bars? With danger closing in, it’s a race to find the truth and and right the wrongs of the past.

  1. None of them are. As for my next ten TBR- I only know of some, but not the next ten. Just depends on what I am reading. Know some books that are on my TBR, but don’t know when I will read them

    1. Magicians Nephew- to be started today
    2. Last Battle
    3. House of Many Ways
    4. To Kill a Mockingbird

Here are the other 2020 TBR books:

    1. Hard Times
    2. The Day the World Came to Town
    3. Man Who Invented Christmas
    4. A Christmas Carol

Of course, I will read more than those I just listed- but will be reading others

    1. Thank you! I recently read The Song of Achilles and LOVED it. And I used to teach The Odyssey, so I’m curious to see that aspect of the story from Circe’s POV.

  2. The only one that is on my TBR is The Newcomer. I do my What are you reading Monday post each week and list a possible ten books I will select from to read. I never stick to it, always picking something up that is not on that post. I hope you do better than I do.

    1. I love MKA and am really looking forward to The Newcomer. I find it hard to stick to my TBR too – I tend to be a mood reader. We’ll see what happens! 🙂

  3. Oh, good idea to make it kind of a TBR! I think mine was kind of that way because I added so many of them to my yearly challenge this year. I am hoping that means I’ll get to them and not switch them out for other books. lol. I really liked Circe! I hope you enjoy it too!!

      1. haha, I can’t help you there since I haven’t read SoA yet! But, I remember a lot of people liking it when it came out. It’s why I picked it up!! I hope you at least enjoy your time with it. 🙂

  4. I haven’t heard of quite a few of these but Circe was a wonderful read. Doesn’t top Song of Achilles IMHO but Miller’s writing is just *chefs kiss*! I hope you enjoy all of these reads, Julie!
