Places in Books I’d Love to Live
1. Clecania – The Clecanian Series by Victoria Aveline
In this series, the hunky alpha aliens have been trained to please their females – cooking, cleaning, taking care of kids, and household chores are all part of the alien’s education. Plus, the males are super hunky!!! Fly me to Clecania, please! lol
2. Prythian – A Court of Thorns and Roses Series by Sarah J. Maas
I would love to visit all of the courts, especially Summer and Autumn, but I’d want to live in the Night Court or anywhere else Rhysand chose to live. lol
3. The Faerie Realm – The Fae of Bitter Thorn Series by Kay L. Moody
The world that Moody created in this series is so magical and unique. I would definitely love to live here!
4. Middle Earth – Lord of the Rings Series by J.R.R. Tolkien
Specifically, I’d love to live in the Shire or Rivendell. They both sounds beautiful! The Shire is so peaceful and relaxing and the people sounds so happy and friendly. Rivendell sounds so lovely and majestic, and I’d love to see the waterfalls and other magical elements.
5. The Galaxy – Crownchasers by Rebecca Coffindaffer
Why limit myself to one place? In Crownchasers, the protagonist travels all over the galaxy and visits many unique planets! Alyssa primarily lives in her ship and constantly travels, so she really gets to see it all.
6. Crescent City – House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J. Maas
Crescent City sounds like a cool place to live. There are so many supernatural beings and creatures, and I feel like there are a lot of places to discover. Of course, I’d ask Bryce to be my guide. She knows all the best places in the city.
7. Legura – Tempting the Dragon King by Kiersten Fay
I’m basically going here for the gorgeous dragon shifters, but the planet sounds pretty cool too!! Kiersten Fay always creates such immersive and fascinating worlds in her series, and this is just one of the planets that I’d like to visit. She had me at dragon shifters!

5. The Scottish Highlands – Every Highland Romance Novel I’ve Ever Read
There’s something about the Scottish Highlands that appeals to me. Maybe it’s the beautiful and lush lands, or maybe it’s the hunky Highland heroes in all of the historical novels I read. Either way, I think I’d enjoy living in the Highlands.. lol
9. New Orleans – Ancient’s Rising Series by Katie Reus
I’ve never been to New Orleans, and the New Orleans in this series is a bit different. Supernatural beings have been exposed to the human world and now live openly among them. There are even baby dragons, and they are adorable! I would so want one if I lived in this world! This setting is great because I get the best of both worlds – New Orleans with a supernatural element sounds so cool!
10. Talamh – The Awakening by Nora Roberts
A portal in Ireland leads to Talamh, a magical land of fairies, weres, dragons, and more! The people that the protagonist meets all sound wonderful, as does Talamh.

i would die to live in ACOTAR series!! The night court would be a dream to visit!! I just finished the 4th book and omg just take me away please. Also Crescent City would be AMAZING (SJM builds the best worlds hehe) I haven’t heard of most of these other books so now of course want to check them out 😉 great list!

I have Scottish Highlands on my list this week too — what a dream destination! And yes to Middle-Earth!

So you have me curious about the Ancient’s Rising series. I live in northern Louisiana, but my mom lived in N.O. for years, so I’ve spent a lot of time there – especially during those rebuilding years after Katrina. There are many things I love abt NO, but some things I don’t (like the constant reek of urine in the streets). The hubs and I love visiting, but we both agreed we didn’t want to live there (my mom definitely tried to convince us). Anyways, I do love seeing N.O. (and Louisiana in general) through different author’s eyes. Sometimes I think they get it wrong, and that’s okay. But, sometimes they see things that I take for granted because it’s just right in front of my face all the time, and I LOVE that. WOW! Okay, this is turning into a whole blog post here… LOL! So, I added the series to the TBR!
I’ve never been to NO, and except for the urine smell, it sounds so cool. I don’t know if I could handle the heat though. I’ve lived in the Northeast and even our summers are too hot for me. However, if there were hunky supernaturals and baby dragons there, I’d totally consider it. lol I hope you enjoy the series if you get a chance to read it. They too are dealing with rebuilding NO throughout the series – not because of hurricane damage, more supernatural related things.
Well, I think baby dragons would probably lure me to any city. LOL! And while the heat is a factor, it’s the humidity that gets you!

I haven’t read most of the books on this list but I have read some Highlands and agree that would be a place for me as well.
