I recently read and loved Under the Whispering Door! It was my first read by T.J. Klune, and I was completely blown away. It’s one of those books that stays with you long after you finish reading it, and there are so many powerful, thought-provoking moments. When creating this post, I found it hard to narrow down my favorite lines – there are so many good ones, but I managed to narrow it down to my top 15 faves. Let’s take a look at these fabulous stand-out quotes from the book!

Hindsight is a powerful thing, Wallace. We don’t always see what’s right in front of us, much less to appreciate it. It’s not until we look back that we find what we should have known all along.

Bravery meant the possibility of death. And wasn’t that funny? Because it took being dead for Wallace to finally be brave.
We live and we breathe. We die, and we still feel like breathing. It’s not always the big deaths either. There are little deaths, because that’s what grief is.
It’s never enough, is it? Time. We always think we have so much of it, but when it really counts, we don’t have enough at all.
