Holiday Book Haul!

Now that the holidays are over, I thought it would be fun to show you all of the amazing books I received (and bought for myself). Between gifts from family and friends and that amazing sale at Barnes & Noble, I hauled some fantastic books! Let’s check them out!

Leslie @ Books Are the New Black sent this book, which was on my wish list. Isn’t that the nicest?!! I love Leslie, and she reads so many amazing books! I’ve heard a lot of fantastic things about The Love Hypothesis, and I think it is going to be my first read of 2022. Thank again, Leslie!

Caraval by Stephanie Garber

Nikkie @ Stars Books & Tea gave me a copy of Caraval and Legendary. How awesome is that? I’m hoping Nikkie and I can buddy read these at some point in 2022. I read Once Upon a Broken Heart and loved it, so I’m thinking I’ll love these too!

My husband has heard me talk about this book so much! I think that’s why he got it for me. lol This was one of my favorite reads of 2020, so he did good!

My husband got this too. I love poetry and was excited to add it to my collection. I’ve already read several poems in the collection, and they are powerful – thought-provoking and poignant.

Cinderella is Dead by Kalynn Bayron

My daughter bought this for me at her school book fair. This is another 2020 read that I really enjoyed, and I recommended it to my daughter a while back. I’m thinking we might buddy read it.

Teen girls are now required to appear at the Annual Ball, where the men of the kingdom select wives based on a girl’s display of finery. If a suitable match is not found, the girls not chosen are never heard from again.

I bought this for myself at Barnes & Noble. I couldn’t resist the 50% off all hardcovers sale!!

Steelstriker by Marie Lu

This is another one I bought at the Barnes & Noble sale. I have a signed copy of the first book and was excited to add this to my bookshelves.

I read and LOVED the first two books in the Blood and Ash series, and want to own hardcovers of the series. I couldn’t find the first two books at Barnes & Noble when I went, but I did manage to snag the last copy of COGB! I also pre-ordered the next book The War of Two Queens – can’t wait for it!!
