Stacking the Shelves: February 4, 2022

Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Marlene of Reading Reality. It’s all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, books for review from authors, NetGalley, or publishers,  gifts or books you won. If you click on a cover, it will take you to Goodreads.

Let’s check out some of the AMAZING books I received this week!

eBook ARCs from NetGalley & Publishers:

I requested and was approved for Elektra and The Daughter of Doctor Moreau and am sooooo excited!! I didn’t think I’d be approved for either, so I was super surprised this week. Elektra is from Flatiron Books, and The Daughter of Doctor Moreau is from Random House Pub.

Entangled Publishing sent me Spark of Ash and Highland Justice, and both are the third books in their respective series. I’ve loved both series, though they are very different from each other.

St. Martin’s Pub sent me The Homewreckers. I love MKA and am always thrilled to receive her books.

And Harper Collins sent me Tear Down the Throne. This is the second book in Jennifer Estep’s series, and I’m really eager to see how the story continues.

Last but not least, Game of Strength and Storm is from Flux, and it’s a gender bent Hercules retelling. Yes, please!!!!

Book Mail from Author:

Kerrin Willis sent me a copy of Iron & Fire which is a historical fiction that takes place close to where I live, so I’m pretty eager to read it. I like learning of the history of New England, and this sounds like an intriguing read!

Book Mail from Publishers:

Out of the Blue is from Forever Publishing, and it is a great contemporary romance with messages about body positivity. Check out my review!

Hunt the Stars is from Harper Collins. I was lucky enough to interview the author, and I loved this sci-fi romance! Check out my review!

Giveaway Win:

I won both of these books in Forever Publishing’s Treat Yourself Giveaway, as well as a $50 gift card!! Guess what I’m going to spend the money on?

  1. What a nice variety of books you have here! I like the sound and look of Iron and Fire. Although I don’t live in New England, I do like historical fiction set there. Good luck with all your new reads! You’re going to be busy 🙂

  2. Wow! An excellent haul, Julie. I’m sure you’ve already read several of these as I am reading this post a week late. The only one I also have is The Home Wreckers. Enjoy them all! 💖📚
