Stacking the Shelves: March 12, 2022

Happy Saturday! I hope you had a great week. I had a chaotic week, as my youngest tested positive for Covid and was out of school. Luckily, she is doing ok – she started with a fever and was really tired. Now, she is congested, but that’s it. So, she’ll be back at school on Monday.

As far as the blog goes, I read quite a few books and hauled some good ones too. Let’s check them out!

ARCs/ NetGalley:

I’m trying not to request a lot of books because I still have so many on NetGalley to read and review, but I did get approved for these two!

From the Author:

I got both of these beauties from the authors and am so excited to dive into them! Blood Sanctuary is the third book in the Blood Grace series, and I binged the first two books this week. So good!! A Veil of Gods and Kings is a new series by Nicole Bailey, and it sounds amazing!! I plan to read both of these this week.

Freebies & Library Loans:

Only one freebie this week – Queen of Ashes. I was gifted Heartstopper by Tahnee Perry, a wonderful author friend! I’ve heard so many fantastic things about it, and I can’t wait to start it. And I borrowed Fangirl from the library and loved it!!

Purchases:

What better way to beat the covid blues than to order a bunch of books! I did a buddy read of We Hunt the Flame with Dini @ Dini Panda Reads and Leslie @ Books Are the New Black and enjoyed it! I just received the other books yesterday and haven’t read any of them yet.

Well, there you have it. A pretty decent haul for one week. Have you read any of these? What did you haul this week? Comment below!

  1. Great haul Julie. Thanks for the heads up about A Mirror Mended. I enjoyed the first one in the series. Enjoy all your new additions.
