This week, I’m spotlighting A SHADOW IN THE EMBER by Jennifer L. Armentrout. This is the first book in the Flesh & Fire series, and it sounds fantastic. I read the first two books in the Blood & Ash series and loved them, though I haven’t read books 3 & 4 yet. I’ve heard mixed reviews on The War of Two Queens and am thinking I might read this one before I jump back into the other series.

I am tempted by this but stopped reading her Flesh & Fire series as there was too much filler and too little plot movement for my tastes. Hope you enjoy this when you get around to it.

I still need to read books 3 & 4 also, and of course get to this series.
I have only read a few JLynn books, contemporaries. JLA has a huge fanbase, so there must be something to her writing.
