Stacking the Shelves: April 29, 2022

Happy Saturday! It’s time for another Stacking the Shelves, and since I didn’t post last week, this has two weeks worth of shelf stacking. Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Marlene of Reading Reality. It’s all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, books for review from authors, NetGalley, or publishers,  gifts or books you won. If you click on a cover, it will take you to Goodreads.

Let’s check out some of the fabulous books I hauled!

Digital ARCs from NetGalley, Publishers, and Blog Tours:

So far, I’ve only read A Little Too Familiar, which was fantastic! I’m so excited to share my review in the upcoming blog tour! I’m hoping to read the Harlequin books and McLean’s historical rom-com later this week.

Book Mail:

Special thanks to Forever Publishing for sending me all 7 books in the Rogues to Riches series. I read and adored the last 4 books and look forward to reading the first 3.

eBooks from the Author:

The Sylvan and the Sand was sooooo good! Definitely worth the read if you like romantasy. And Claire Huston’s upcoming release The Only Exception sounds like a charming contemporary romance. I always enjoy Huston’s books, so I’m looking forward to picking this one up.

Purchases:

I’ve read We Free the Stars (shout out to Dini and Leslie – such fun buddy read friends!) and Lakesedge. Loved them both!

Did you haul any good books this week? Have you read any of the ones listed? Comment below!

  1. Well, this week didn’t get any new books; however on the 2nd of May might get one

The month of April——wasn’t able to finish a book. Obviously I am loving Deathly Hallows, which I am almost done with. The Paris Library, a library book for kindle which I am currently enjoying. Those are the two books I am working on right now

  2. Ooh, I read my first book by Adrienne Young this month and I’m really keen to read more by her so I’ll have to check out what Spells for Forgetting is about 👀 it looks really good though! Such a great haul, Julie 🙂 I love buddy reading with you and Leslie and I can’t wait for our next one, too!

    1. I loved Fable and Namesake, so I’m hoping I’ll enjoy this one. We’ll see! I’m excited for our next one too. I’m reading The Violent Delights this week to catch up to you two. We should compare NetGalley arcs and see if we have any in common!

  3. I haven’t read any of those, but there are some gorgeous covers in there! This week from Netgalley, I hauled The Drowned Woods by Emily Lloyd-Jones and Daughter of Redwinter by Ed McDonald!
