Sundays in Bed With… A Little Bit of Luck by Jill Shalvis

Happy Sunday! I’m back today with “Sundays in Bed With….” a meme dares to ask what book has been in your bed this morning. Come share what book you’ve spent time curled up reading in bed, or which book you wish you had time to read today!  The meme was originally hosted by Midnight Book Girl.

Today I’m reading A Little Bit of Luck by Jill Shalvis. I got this on the mail last week, and I’m a little more than halfway through. It’s two books in one and includes It Had to Be You and Always on My Mind, books 7 and 8 in the Lucky Harbor series. I loved It Had to Be You, and I just started Always on My Mind. When I finish, I think I’m going to start In the Shadow Garden by Liz Parker.

IT HAD TO BE YOU
Ali Winters is not having a good day. Everyone in town thinks she’s a thief, and now she’s about to be kicked out of her home. Her only shot at keeping a roof over her head and clearing her name is to beg for help from a police detective who’s as sexy as he is stern. As Luke Hanover helps Ali put her world back together, the pieces of his own life finally seem to fall into place. Is this the start of a sizzling fling? Or are Luke and Ali on the brink of something big?

ALWAYS ON MY MIND
After messing up her big break on a reality cooking show, Leah Sullivan returns home to Lucky Harbor and the comfort of her best friend, Jack Harper. In an effort to cheer up Jack’s ailing mother, Leah tells a little fib—that she and Jack are more than just friends. Soon, pretending to be hot-and-heavy with this hunky firefighter is more than Leah bargained for, and Jack is longing to turn their fake relationship into something permanent. But do they dare risk falling in love for real?

  1. I love Shalvis’ books. This may have been the first series I read by her. I have not read them all, but I did read these two, and they were solid, classic Shalvis. Hope you enjoy!
