I tried to read a book a day in October, and though I wasn’t able to do quite that, I still managed to read 25 books!

    1. Thanks! I did like Babel. It was powerful and thought-provoking, and the story was so immersive. But it’s a little dense at times. Overall, a 5 star read for me. I hope you get a chance to read it and love it!

  1. You had a great reading month! Babel… I’m so intimidated by it. LOL
I know nothing about Better than Fiction by Alexa Martin, but that cover is stunning! Want to read it just because of it! 🙈

  2. Julie!!! 25 books!!! Holy granola, you are AMAZING! 😍 I’m so glad we read Babel together although I’m still struggling with how to write my review for that book cos it feels too big. 😂 I hope you have just as great a month in November!

    1. I feel the same way – I have a lot of thoughts, but they’re kind of all over the place. SO much happened, and there are so many different things I’d want to talk about. I feel like it would be the longest review ever!! lol

  3. This October wrap-up has put my reading to shame! Lol! Looks like you read a ton of amazing books. I am adding a few of these to my winter reading list so thank you for sharing. My October was fairly uneventful when it came to reading but luckily, my book club had a book that I absolutely loved (and will probably reread in the future tbh). “Daughters of Teutobod” by Kurt Hansen is an epic historical fiction book that I think you and your readers will really enjoy. I love inspirational women’s fiction and family sagas always keep me hooked so this was a win-win. The book follows three different women from three different time periods – Gretel, Gudrun, and Samantha. I loved how these women were portrayed because even though they are “strong and inspirational characters” they are realistically shown as being human and making mistakes and adapting/persevering. I really felt the book was a gentle reminder to remember it’s ok to be “not ok” during anything you’re dealing with. Hope you will check it out!
