Happy December! Can you believe we are already in the final month of the year? 2022 went by in a blur, and I’m already getting excited for some of the amazing-sounding 2023 releases. November was a productive month for me and the blog. I read and reviewed a ton. I don’t know how I managed it. I’ve been super busy with the kids, the holiday, and a little side job, but I always manage to sneak in some reading time. Let’s check out my month in books!
Books Read:
I read 24 books this month. Whew! It was a lot, but there were a bunch of fantastic reads. Ash Princess, Shadow Pawn, and Lore Olympus Vol. 2 were my favorites, and Prince of Song and Sea and The Ex Hex were really fun reads too. I only had one DNF this month, and most of my reads were around 4 stars.

How was your November? Did we read or review any of the same books? Comment below!
November- finally was able to finish a book (one I have been reading since September); The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue
Currently (as in the December readings)- physical read (Becoming Mrs. Lewis) and kindle (The Littlest Library);
What did you think of Addie LaRue? I’ve heard a lot of good things about it.
Awesome month!
Thank you!
What an absolutely incredible month of reading! I got sidetracked with my read of Esperance but I’m definitely keen to come back to that. I’m so curious to know which book you DNF’d (it must’ve been really not great!) 😂 but honestly, all of these reads look great. I hope December is going to be another month of awesome reading for you, Julie! Great wrap up 🙂
Thanks, Dini! Esperance was soooo good. I hope you end up loving it when you pick it up again. I named Carver my official book boyfriend when I read it. lol 🙂 And you know me – I don’t usually DNF a book, but I had to for this one. It wasn’t a bad story, but there were a few things that I couldn’t get past.
Thanks, Dini! I hope you have a great December too! 🙂
Haha, okay, I’m looking forward to getting to know Carver then! 😂😍 I do enjoy Frost’s books though so I have a feeling I’ll enjoy this one too! And yes, you don’t DNF so it must’ve been something for you to put it down! I hope you don’t have anymore of these for the rest of the year at least, lol 🙂
This was actually the first book I read by Frost. But after I finished I went back and binged her other books. And then I got on her street team. So excited!! I def. think you’ll love Esperance if you liked the others. 🙂
So many wonderful looking books 😍. What a great month of reads you had!
Thanks, Tessa!
You had a fantastic month like always! I am finishing up Pride and Protest right now on audiobook and it’s been good. I hope December is just as good for you!
Thanks! Pride & Protest is a good one! I really liked the mmc.
The cover for Esperance is gorgeous!!!
What a great month with all that other stuff going on! I really enjoyed reading Ash Princess with you and I can’t wait to start Lady Smoke!
It was busy, for sure! lol I’m excited to start it too. Ash Princess was sooo good! Let me know when you’re ready. 🙂
Probably in a week or so, if that works for you?
Works for me 🙂
Sounds good to me!
Congrats on a great month! I have The Ex Hex waiting on my shelf, so I’m happy to hear you enjoyed it. I’m penciling it in for next year!
Thank you! The Ex Hex was fun. I;ve heard good things about the second book too. I’m hoping to read it soon!
