Book Haul: May 2024

Happy Sunday, friends! I hope you’re having a great weekend! I’ve been super busy and haven’t gotten much reading done in the past few days, but I’m hoping today I can get a few hours in. Fingers crossed! I thought I’d share my May book haul today. I hauled a bunch of great books, and I’ve read more than I expected. Let’s check them out!

Book Mail:

I received five books in the mail this month, and I’ve read four of the five. The Last Song of Penelope was my favorite – such a brilliant read!

eBooks:

I got nine eBooks in May, and so far I’ve read seven – all the historical romances! lol I’m super excited about Black Tide Son and The Gods Below, though, and I’m thinking I might start Black Tide Son today. Of the historical romances, Stranded with Her Forbidden Knight and Isabel and the Rogue were my favorites.

There you have it! Did you haul or read any of these? What books did you get? Comment below!

  1. What a great haul! I can’t wait to see what you think of some of them.

  2. Excellent haul! My May was rather understated: my 2 BOTM picks (The Paradise Problem and The Ministry of Time) and 2 that I snagged from the Library book sale (Sepulchre Street and The Sunset Years of Agnes Sharp). Of those, I’ve only finished the Paradise Problem so far 🙂

      1. I did – it was wild and wacky, with some heavy stuff in the mix. I loved the “fake married but actually married” premise and it’s always a good time to read about people who are so rich its unfathomable 🙂
