Goodreads Monday is a weekly meme where you chose a random book from your Goodreads TBR and show it off. This meme is hosted by Budget Tales Book Blog.
I bought a copy of The Last Legacy when it came out last year, but I still haven’t gotten around to reading it. I’m not sure why. I loved the Fable Duology, and this is a spin-off of it. I definitely need to read this before Saint releases in November!
About the Book:

Page Length: 336
Publication Date: Sept. 7, 2021
Publisher: Wednesday Books
Synopsis: New York Times bestselling author Adrienne Young returns with The Last Legacy, a captivating standalone about family and blood ties, reinventing yourself, and controlling your own destiny.
When a letter from her uncle Henrik arrives on Bryn Roth’s eighteenth birthday, summoning her back to Bastian, Bryn is eager to prove herself and finally take her place in her long-lost family.
Henrik has plans for Bryn, but she must win everyone’s trust if she wants to hold any power in the delicate architecture of the family. It doesn’t take long for her to see that the Roths are entangled in shadows. Despite their growing influence in upscale Bastian, their hands are still in the kind of dirty business that got Bryn’s parents killed years ago. With a forbidden romance to contend with and dangerous work ahead, the cost of being accepted into the Roths may be more than Bryn can pay.

Sounds interesting. I haven’t read any of her books, but I have seen them around.

You too! 🙂
Thank you 🙂
I’ve been super intrigued with this one, but like you I haven’t picked it up yet.
I’ve heard a lot of mixed reviews, which makes me hesitant. Buuut, I loved the Fable duology, so I’m hoping I’ll like this one too! We shall see…
I’m in the same boat!
The model on this cover is somehow giving me Sansa vibes? I’m here for it! This sounds great 😃 I hope you enjoy it, Julie!
Now that you say that – yes! I totally get Sansa vibes! Thanks, Dini!
I keep going back and forth on this! It’s available at BookOutlet. I might just do it and read it. I also loved the Fable series.
That’s where I bought it! lol
