Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
This week’s topic is Recent Additions to My Bookshelves. My family definitely knew what to get me this year. The kids and the hubs all went to my Amazon wish list and picked books that they’ve heard me talking about. I was super excited to see these under the tree this year!

My daughters gave me Under the Whispering Door and Written in Starlight for Christmas. I had both of these on my wish list, though I’ve already read Under the Whispering Door. I loved it so much that I wanted a copy for my shelves. lol Both covers are so gorgeous!

The hubs got me six books and a huge bookcase. I was so surprised!!! All of the books were from my wish list, so if anyone’s looking ot buddy read any of these, let me know. So far, I’ve only read The Heartstopper Yearbook. Loved it!
Have you read any of these books? What ones have you added to your bookshelf recently? Comment below!
What a great haul! I adore Natalie Haynes and need to read The Children of Jocasta!
Thanks! I’m excited to read it too – I’m curious to see the Oedipus story from a different POV>
Klune and Kennedy wrote great books. They will be great on your shelves.
Thank you! I’m so excited!
Wow!! They did good!!! And a new bookcase?!? How exciting!!!
I know, right! I was so surprised!
Fantastic books and a bookcase? I love that for you!
Thanks, Yolanda! I was so surprised!!
Julie! You got so many great books, and the simple fact that hubs (Soren) got you a bookcase shows that he’s totally a keeper! I hope you enjoy all of these, and have a great New Year!
Here’s my post for this week: http://leahs-books.com/2022/12/27/ttt-most-recent-additions-to-my-book-collection-2/
Thanks, Leah! He is most definitely a keeper. Tonight, he encouraged me to go to the Barnes and Noble sale. Go Soren, I mean Greg. lol
He may be Greg to you but he’ll always be Soren to me 😂
What an awesome haul, Julie, and a bookcase. He’s a keeper!
Definitely a keeper!! lol
It’s so awesome that you got treated to all these books this year, Julie! And a new bookshelf—he definitely knows what’s good! 😃 I hope you enjoy all the ones you haven’t read yet.
Thanks, Dini! It was such a surprise!
A new bookcase is such a great present for a book lover. The only one of these that I’ve read is Forging Silver into Stars which I definitely loved.
Oh my gosh, it was the best present ever! I was so surprised. lol
You got some really great gifts! I also got bookshelves which was long overdue haha. Half Sick of Shadows has been on my tbr for a long while. I am very curious about it.
I just saw that on your post! It’s so great to be able to reorganize my books. I’m curious too. I love her other books, so fingers crossed I’ll enjoy it. 🙂
