Happy Tuesday! Today, I have my July Book Haul, and considering I was sick for almost two weeks, I still managed a pretty fantastic haul and read a bunch of them, too. It was my husband’s birthday early in the month, and I visited with my cousin who just had a baby, which was a lot of fun. Then, my daughter went to Nationals for bowling. She had a great time and did well, but she and my husband brought home Covid, and then my other daughter and I got it. No fun!
Aaaaand, while the hubs was away, I adopted a dog!! Her name is Annie, and I’ve been singing songs from the musical since I got her. lol She’s 6 months old, and even though I bought her for my husband and girls, I’m so in love with her, and she’s a little mommy’s girl. My friend was fostering her a couple of months ago, and my kids fell in love, but she was adopted the day after they met her. They were bummed, but while they were away, the new owners returned her! I couldn’t believe it. They returned her because she wasn’t house trained, which isn’t a shock. She’s a puppy. But instead of returning her to the shelter, they returned her to my foster friend who called me. Annie was brought over an hour later, and the rest is history.

My sweet girl! I have no idea what breed she is, but she is a super happy dog and very sweet. Anyway, let’s take a peek at my haul!
eBooks:
I hauled 10 eBooks from NetGalley and publishers last month, and I’ve already read 6 of them! So far, my favorite is The Dagger and the Flame with Full Speed to a Crash Landing at a close second. I still have to read The Thirteenth Child, Rebel Witch, The Serpent and the Wolf, and Fear the Flames.
Book Mail:
I received five books from authors and publishers, and so far, I’ve read More Than a Blind Date and All Signs Point to Malibu. I plan to read the other three this month!
Purchases:
I haven’t read any of my purchases yet, but Powerless is pretty high up on my TBR.
