Synopsis:
Taking over her late father’s company was never part of Alex Stone’s life plan.
But now, sitting in the CEO chair at Stone Enterprises, she’s resigned to living her life alone. Being a high-powered, billionaire woman tends to narrow one’s romantic prospects. As Alex works relentlessly to reshape her inherited hotel empire, she’s acquired a target on her back complete with death threats.
Alex turns to Hawk Bronson, a man who is equal parts bodyguard, sexy, and completely infuriating. Especially when it comes to protecting her.
As the danger escalates, Hawk comes to terms with the fact that their connection goes way beyond bodyguard and assignment. He knows he should keep his distance—his own dark past and nightmares put her at greater risk—but he can’t walk away. Protecting Alex means everything. Putting her life in someone else’s care isn’t an option once he’s tasted their passion and depth of his feelings.
As they navigate a minefield of family secrets, past pain, and unexpected hope, Alex and Hawk must face their deepest fears and fight for a future together. But first, they’ll need to unmask whoever is behind the threats—before Alex becomes their next victim.

My Thoughts on No More Yesterdays:
I loved the first (All Our Tomorrows) and second (The Forgotten One) books in The Heirs series, and I was already invested in the Stone siblings going into this book, so I was really looking forward to reading Alex’s story. No More Yesterdays was everything I hoped it would be!
Alex has always come across as the most guarded of the siblings, and stepping into her world gave so much insight into how much she’s been carrying. Thrust into a role she never wanted or anticipated, she’s not doing it all alone. Her brothers and their partners have been fully in it with her, but the pressure of being the one in charge, and of living up to expectations while also fixing everything their father broke, definitely weighs on her. Add to that the fact that she’s navigating an industry full of men who constantly underestimate or challenge her, and she’s being targeted and her life threatened, and I was hooked.
On top of the intrigue, there’s also a swoon-worthy romance between Alex and her hunky bodyguard. So good!! I’m always a fan of a protective bodyguard story, and Hawk was fabulous. Their chemistry is strong from the beginning, but it was the emotional side of their relationship that really got me. He sees her clearly—her strength, her vulnerability, all of it—and he never flinches. I loved how much he respected her while still pushing her to let people in. And the way he let her see him too, even though he struggled with his own battles, was lovely.
Other than the romances, one of the things I’ve loved most about this trilogy is the Stone siblings and the people they’ve welcomed into their fold. There are such strong found family vibes throughout this book. They show up for each other in real, meaningful ways, and that emotional core ties everything together beautifully. Between the siblings, their partners, their mother and her love, as well as many other dynamic secondary characters, Alex and her brothers have a great support system that is there through everything. And when it’s clear Alex is being targeted, there’s nothing they won’t do to help her.
No More Yesterdays was such a great conclusion to the trilogy. The suspense and intrigue were intense, the romance was swoon-tastic and heartfelt, and the family dynamics were everything!
